Today, National Association of Manufacturers Vice President of Energy and Resource policy Ross Eisenberg participated in a panel discussion hosted by Real Clear Politics’ entitled “US  Energy Policy: The Road Ahead.”

During the panel, Eisenberg highlighted manufacturers’ support of an all of the above energy policy and the importance of an affordable and reliable energy supply to manufacturers:

Affordable and reliable energy is essential to the long-term health of manufacturing in the U.S. and the prosperity of American workers. America must expand access to our domestic energy supply in order to meet current needs for affordable energy.

Eisenberg also mentioned manufacturers’ belief that Keystone should be approved immediately:

Facts, not political expediency, should guide decisions related to Keystone’s approval. Manufacturers believe Keystone approval would send a strong signal to the world that America is open for business.
