NAM Board Member Roy Paulson, president of Paulson Manufacturing Corporation spoke about the power of exports to create new customers and production during his keynote address today at the CalExport Conference in Long Beach, CA. The vast majority of U.S. exporters are small and medium-sized (SMEs) businesses like Roy’s company with fewer than 500 workers. Jobs linked to manufactured goods exports pay on average 15 to 20 percent more than other jobs. Roy opened his address to 150 manufacturers interested in starting or expanding exporting with this NAM video on trade.
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote U.S. exports, the NAM joined with the Port of Long Beach and Cargo Business News for this unique inaugural event that is bringing together U.S.-based exporters, experts, policymakers and service providers today and tomorrow to discuss export trade logistics opportunities, challenges and promotion through the State of California.
