Last Saturday manufacturers in Houston focused their attention on walking for a good cause in the local JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. The NAM and manufacturer Baker Hughes, led by NAM Board Member Art Soucy, were sponsors of the walk and recruited large teams to participate in the walk. The theme of this year’s Houston walk was Super Heroes Unite.
This is another great example of how manufacturers in Houston, one of America’s top manufacturing cities, and throughout the country are making a real difference in their communities. By banding together for great causes we can one day manufacturer a cure for diabetes and continue to make significant innovations and great products to help people in need.
