By December 1, 2010General, Regulations

Best commentary we’ve seen yet on the celebrations of the Environmental Protection Agency’s 40 years in existence comes courtesy of the good people at the Institute for Liberty.

Sure a lot of self-congratulation at the EPA over its existence. First, it was 40 years of Earth Day back in April — yay, us! — and this week 40 years of the agency itself.

Nixon’s wage and price controls failed, but his legacy of economic command and control lives on in the EPA. How funny that is.
