This morning, the AFL-CIO conceded its failure to push the Employee Free Choice Act through Congress this year.

At 9 a.m., the banner came down.

Just because the labor unions have given up on the entire bill, the Employee Free Choice Act, doesn’t mean they won’t be trying to attach other parts of the legislation onto separate bills. Or, as is more likely, now use the National Labor Relations Board to enact the provisions through board decisions and rule-making.

P.S. You know who’s really happy? All those AFL-CIO office workers who got their window view of the White House back.
