Supporters of the jobs-killing Employee Free Choice Act are attempting to portray the discussions to develop a “new” version of the bill as having momentum. Unfortunately all of the bad ideas being kicked are based in principle on the current legislation. We’re not concerned with the fine tuning of these provisions – as when you fine tune a fundamentally flawed concept, it still remains a flawed concept.
A Virginian newspaper argues in an editorial this morning:
The “new” card-check may even be worse than the “old.”
