Idle curiosity prompts us to search the Congressional Record via Thomas for references to the Employee Free Choice Act, organized labor’s No. 1 priority.
Congress does not rate the forced unionization measure as highly. The last time any member of Congress made a positive reference to EFCA in the Record was a statement inserted into the Extension of Remarks section, July 22, by Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA). (No. 3 in the chronological list.)
The union bosses must be getting discouraged. Or angrier.
