From The Louisville-Courier Journal, “Senate panel clears Northup for consumer post,” reporting that the Senate Commerce Committee approved both Anne Northup, a former Kentucky Congresswoman, and Robert Adler, a former CPSC staffer, House aide and professor, to serve on the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The Senate can be expected to confirm them before the Senate adjourns for the August recess later this week.
