Was Al Gore in Western North Dakota?

What with travel and then cowering under our desk because of thunderstorms here in D.C., we completely missed the latest evidence of a massive global cooling trend: Snow in North Dakota in June, in Dickinson and other western areas of the state. It’s not mountainous out there, unless you count a few buttes, and it’s coal country, to boot.
