Blogging the Issues at Johnson & Johnson

Johnson & Johnson grabs the blogging reins with hands & hands and does a very nice job at NJBiz profiled the project last week, “Spreading the Word with a Corporate Blog.”

Marc Monseau, J&J’s director of corporate communications, says helps the company connect with everyone from employees to suppliers while discussing regulatory and other ticklish issues in a candid fashion. It can even be used to settle scores.

“Everyone else is talking about our company, so why can’t we?” Monseau says on the site. “I will try to find a voice that often gets lost in formal communications.”

Elsewhere in Blogospheria, the Washington Post’s Howard Kurtz discovers another communications platform, “With BlogTalkRadio, the Commentary Universe Expands.”
