National Association of Manufacturers President John Engler is holding a news conference at the National Press Club at 10 a.m. Wednesday to “announce a major legal action which has significant implications for activist organizations, trade associations and government.” The very good Blog of Legal Times speculated on the subject matter today in a post, “NAM to File Suit Over Disclosure?”
Well, we’re not going to steal the news conference’s thunder, but do note the media advisory listed the other speakers as two partners from the law firm of Wiley, Rein: Jan Witold Baran and Tom Kirby. In January, Baran had a piece in the Washington Post’s Outlook section, “Can I Lobby You?
