The San Diego Business Journal has ranked the area’s superwealthy, you know, one of those Forbes-like exercises. Ranked No. 7 is the former class-action titan and admitted felon, William S. Lerach, with an estimated net worth of $900 million. Guess the $8 million in forfeiture and fines for conspiring on class-action kick backs will be bearable, even after some time in the hoosegow.
Not to mention the $50 million Lerach stands to clear on Enron legal fees.
