In today’s tough global marketplace, it’s critical that the United States make extraordinary efforts to improve our competitiveness. It’s up to us. But, on the other hand, if other countries want to make themselves less competitive, who are we to complain?

The Italian Senate has passed legislation opening the door to American-style class-action lawsuits. You know, Italy? With its “notoriously slow and inefficient legal system?”

We did a little research and it appears the preferred Italian term for class-action is…”class action.”
