NAM President John Engler’s new weekly message extends thanks to all those who commented on the EPA’s proposed new standards for ground-level ozone.
The 90-day comment period closed yesterday, and the NAM’s submitted comments can be read here (in a .pdf file). The NAM supports maintaining the current standards as effective and economically rational.
As Engler says:
Now that the public has weighed in, it’s time for the EPA to act. We think the conclusion is clear: Current ozone standards are already working to clean America’s air. Let’s not destroy good jobs in pursuit of unreasonable regulations seeking unattainable goals.
