Snoop Dogg, the rapping felon, misogynist and debaser of culture, was given a global platform in Hamburg thanks to Al Gore and Live Earth last summer. Yesterday, as Al was jetting high on his way to more glory, Snoop was sentenced to 160 hours of community service for his illegal possession of a firearm.
The rapper, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., will do “everything from raking leaves to painting benches” in order to meet the 160 hours of community service he was ordered to perform, his attorney, Donald Etra, said.
Well, in that, a more personal contribution to the environment than we’ll ever see from Al Gore.
