Akon, a talented hip-hop performer, is one of Al Gore’s hand-picked headliners at the U.S. “Live Earth” concert to raise awareness about global warming. (What? There’s global warming? Huh. Wasn’t aware.)
Akon’s been in the news lately, too, building up publicity for the event. First, there was the on-stage sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Trinidad. And now, he’s assaulting teenagers pulled out of the audience in Fishkill, N.Y. (Michelle Malkin’s site, linked above, has video.)
Still waiting for the question: Mr. Vice President, your “Live Earth” concerts are using convicted felon Snoop Dogg and on-stage abuser Akon to preach societal change to the public. Don’t you think that’s, well, ridiculous?
