Revolutionary changes at Shopfloor.org! We’ve alphabetized our blog roll!
And added a few illustrious blogs to the list, as well.
PRI’s Blog, from our friends and NAM allies at the Pacific Research Institute, an outpost of capitalism and competition in San Francisco. Pacific Research and the NAM have collaborated in the past, most prominently on “Jackpot Justice,” a report chronicling the disastrous economic effects of America’s out-of-control tort system. PRI also does admirable, notable work on health care policy, among other areas of study. And take a look at the blog’s URL: It contains the word “liberty.” Very good.
Bluey Blog, the personal blog of Robert B. Bluey, the director of the Center for Media and Public Policy at The Heritage Foundation. Rob is a whiz at blogging and a cogent advocate for free-market policies.
Planet Gore, one of the National Review’s panoply of splendid blogs. It’s a frequently updated review and debunking of the excesses, suspect science and propagandistic horrors that are all too common among the carbon-depletionistas. Figure now that they’re on the blog roll, we won’t have to write “hat tip, Planet Gore,” every time we cite a particularly on-point refutation of the latest global-warming silliness. Maybe 50 percent of the time?
PatCleary.com. The Blogger-in-Chief leaves the NAM and starts up his own, personal blog, which we trust allows him to stop being such a shrinking violet. In all seriousness, Pat has really had a major impact on blogging and association activism here in Washington, D.C. — a nice column on his contributions here — and he’d be at the very top of our blog roll. Except it’s alphabetized.
