Great piece on the non-issue of offshoring entitled, “What Offshoring Wave?” from wise man Bob Samuelson in today’s WaPo. He relies on the findings of a recent paper from the Institute of International Economics on the topic. But Samuelson’s concluding paragraph says it all:
“It’s easy to blame all our economic anxieties and problems on globalization, because that makes foreigners and multinational companies responsible. Though satisfying, it will also be self-defeating if it diverts attention from fostering a healthy economy at home.”
