Trade Deficit Narrows

Here’s some good news for America’s manufacturers: Our exports grew by almost $1 billion, while imports dropped by as much, thus shrinking the trade deficit.

This is a good time to remind everyone that free trade agreements open markets to US-manufactured goods. CAFTA alone switched a $1 billion deficit to a $1 billion surplus in the span of a year. Wonder where all the CAFTA Chicken Littles are now?
