Just wanted to wish you all a happy Groundhog Day. This is a special day for anyone who lives and works in Washington (especially for anyone who’s been around as long as the blogger-in-chief), because this city is typified by the great film of the same name.
As any veteran of various tax, trade and legal reform battles can attest, (remember the Class Action Fairness Act was in gestation for some 7 years) living in Washington can be the same day over and over again.
So to all of you who have been through more battles than you can recall on the same issues — maybe even (re-)using the same documents — and dealing with the same people (in various lives and iterations), we just want to wish you a safe and healthy Groundhog Day. And, we’ll see you again next year.
