We send our best birthday wishes, slightly belated, to the National Center for Public Policy Research. As Amy Ridenour, president and blogger, notes in this post, the National Center opened for operations on Capitol Hill on Feb. 2, 1982.
The Center’s credo: “We believe the principles of a free market, individual liberty and personal responsibility, combined with a commitment to a strong national defense, provide the greatest hope for meeting the challenges facing America in the 21st century.”
On health care, legal reform, regulatory policy, environment and energy, the National Center does admirable work to promote those principles. Best wishes on the next 25 years!
