Interesting article in the NY Times a few days ago by all-around mensch and fellow guitar player Andy Revkin about a “Middle Stance” emerging among some scientists on global warming. We certainly don’t agree with everything in this article, but Revkin is one of the few knowledgable and level-headed writers out there who actually acknowledges that there’s another side to the story.
This group of scientists, dubbed the “nonskeptical heretics” by Roger A. Pielke Jr. (who we’ve written about here before) show that maybe the center of this debate is moving a bit. Perhaps with more and more facts coming to light, the center will continue to move toward some healthy skepticism.
