Very Disappointing – No Energy Bill, Yet

By October 1, 2006Energy

Well, Congress manged to get out of town without passing an energy bill. We are supremely disappointed, of course, but hope springs eternal. They’ll be back for a lame duck session after the elections and we need to keep pushing to get a vote then.

While they’re home, remind them of your escalating energy costs, remind them of our competitors’ 32% cost advantage over us and tell them to do something for manufacturing and get this bill done.

Here’s a link to the statement put out by the House bill’s sponsors and here’s a copy of the Consumers Alliance for Energy Security release.
