It’s October and that means Oktoberfest and thus our recent fixation with beer, form making your own (yesterday) to watching somebody else make it today.
This great 6-minute video comes from the good folks at NAM member Anheuser-Busch. “The coolest job in the world,” they say in the intro, and we know many of you would agree. The recipe hasn’t changed since Adolphus Busch first brewed it back in 1876. There are the “five key ingredients”: Barley Malt, Rice, Water, Hops and Yeast. In the video, you can see what role they all play and how they come together. They are ultimately fermented for a month, and beechwood aged, and then rolled out for you and me.
