Today we will dedicate the blog to the memory of September 11, 2001, when the world changed forever. Later today you will see a post from NAM President John Engler.
Here’s a link to a piece we wrote for our HR newsletter not quite a month later, in October of 2001 capturing, we think, the mood of those times. And here’s a link to a piece written one year later entitled, “Ora et Labora,” reminding us that we need to remember, and soldier on.
We hope you’ll all take a moment to pause and remember those lost in the attacks of 9/11. For us here in Washington, it hit quite literally close to home, as it did for folks in New York City. But all of America was touched by the events of that awful day.
There will be time to dive back into the routine tomorrow, and we will. But please take a moment today to recall the day and remember the nearly 3,000 innocents who fell.
