According to this story, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) is poised to change the name of their organization to the American Association for Justice. We can only conclude that the “Association of Money-Hungry Plaintiff’s Lawyers Who Don’t Give A Damn About Justice” probably didn’t test well. This is a classic case of putting lipstick on a pig. It won’t work.
Any suggestions for a more accurate name….?
