The Week Ahead: A Death Tax Redux?

By June 12, 2006General

We’re not promising anything, but after the Senate’s bending to the will of the minority last week on the death tax, there is a possibility that they might revisit the issue this week. Remember they fell only three votes short of 60 last week, a kind of super-majority that’s requited for them to move forward. Let’s hope some of the others who voted against hard work and entrepreneurship will reconsider.

Incidentally, here’s a link to a great op-ed by Sen. Santorum (R-PA) over at TownHall.com, urging permanent repeal.
