Under that title ran this op-ed today in the Jackson, Mississippi Clarion-Ledger by Mississippi Manufacturers Association (MMA) President Jay Moon. Before going to the MMA, Jay worked in economic development for the state of Mississippi, so he knows what he’s talking about. And, they have a stake in this, since there are natural gas and oil fields off of their (Gulf) Coast. Here’s the opening paragraph:
“The solution to our energy woes is not more taxes, but more energy from any of several sources, the most immediate being increased oil and gas production in the United States.”
