Death Tax Cut Passes the House

By June 22, 2006General

A bill to greatly reduce — but not eliminate — the death tax passed the House of Representatives today by a pretty good bipartisan margin, 269-156. Thanks to all you small manufacturers who weighed in. We’ll need you again when this hits the Senate, hopefully soon. Again, while it doesn’t totally repeal the tax, it dramatically reduces the tax burden on the manufacturers who are creating wealth and prosperity in this country. And Here’s a link to our press release, applauding the vote. Somewhere the WaPo is crying.
