Its become a bit of a tradition here at Shopfloor.org that we welcome our fellow brethren to the blogosphere. In truth, the business community has not fully embraced blogging as a communications vehicle.
So, when we hear that an ally — especially in the manufacturing association world — started a blog, we’re all about helping them get started with a traffic boost.
Our friends at the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International have just launched a blog, The Fabricator.
How many of you thought The Fabricator was another politician? Well, actually, its a trade association with, “more than 1,400 individual and company members working together to improve the metal forming and fabricating industry. Founded in 1970, FMA brings metal fabricators and manufacturers together through technology councils, educational programs, networking” (from their Web site).
So, check out the Fabricator Blog today…we think you’ll like what they have to say. In fact, as we write this introduction, you can read their take on the need for skilled workers (and you thought we were just making this stuff!)
