Yesterday found the President in New Hampshire, speaking to NAM affiliate New Hampshire Business and Industry Association. They are a great and influential group in that state, the voice of business, very manufacturing-heavy. He mentioned Chair Mike Donahue by name in his remarks, but Jim Roche, the President, runs the day-to-day operations. It’s not every day the President visits one of our groups, so this was a big and special day for us.
Here’s a link to the President’s remarks, where he talked about the budget and deficit reduction and also about his American Competitiveness Initiative, which is critical to the long-term health of manufacturing in this country.
In any event, wanted to give a shout-out to our friends in the Granite State. They did us proud today.
