On February 3, President Bush traveled to NAM member Intel’s facility in New Mexico. There, he gave a speech that hit on all the themes you’ve been reading about here: the American Competitiveness Initiative, the need for increased math and science education, the need for more high-skilled H 1-B visas.
This must be Intel week ’round the blog corral, given our visit with CEO Paul Otellini early in the week. In any event, here’s a link to the President’s speech at Intel last week. For any of you interested in those issues, it’s encouraging to hear the President hitting on these themes. We will continue to work with Intel and all NAM member companies to make the elements of the American Competitiveness Initiative a reality.
