Fun Fact #2: US Paying the Highest Natural Gas Prices in the World

By February 10, 2006Energy

We write pretty often about natural gas prices and specifically about how we are paying the highest natural gas prices in the world. We typically do so in the context of pointing out that we have 420 trillion cubic feet of the stuff sitting right off the coast, but we can’t tap it.

In any event, we just got some updated charts from our friends over at the American Chemistry Council on international natural gas prices. We’ll be referencing them plenty in the coming weeks and months, but wanted to get them out into the public domain as soon as we had ’em.

Click here to see them — there are three of them — and please share with your Representatives, tell them to open the Outer Continental Shelf and start making energy affordable for all.
