You’ve’ got to hand it to Interior Secretary Gale Norton. She has been tireless in her pursuit of more energy independence for the US, most recently pushing for opening up an area one-fifth the size of Dulles Airport in Alaska to provide as much oil as Texas does on-shore, a million barrels a day. She has made numerous press appearance, has even invited bloggers over to see her and talk about the topic. Well, now we have scored a radio interview with her. In the interview, she discusses advances environmentally-responsible technologies that can be used for energy exploration and production in both ANWR and in the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS).
Here’s the link to Secretary Norton’s interview with our own Darren McKinney.
Oh, and click here to weigh in with your Member of Congress, to tell them to start working to unleash out domestic supplies of energy. Remind them that we’re the only country that limits access to its own natural resources.
