As we mentioned yesterday, the National Summit on Competitiveness is happening today over at the Department of Commerce — we’re co-sponsoring. NAM President John Engler kicks it off with a keynote speech. More than 55 corporate CEO’s university presidents and scientists from across the country are expected to appreciate in the day-long summit. The summit will focus on the need for more funding for research and development and a greater emphasis on science and math education.
We’ll do an update as soon as we have it, and documents form the summit will be posted at this link.
