Yet another front page story about the soaring price of natural gas and its impact — this one from Monday’s Wall Street Journal. The title says it all: “Years of Short-Term Strategy Create a Crunch in Natural Gas“. Amen. it mentions that the Natural Gas Supply Association “blames tights supplies on federal policies restricting drilling on federal lands and lawsuits by environmental groups.” As we’ve said in this space many times before, if your heating bills soar this winter, thank an environmentalist.
