Congress as Junior High?

By October 23, 2005General

An AP story quotes 30-year old freshman North Carolina Rep. Patrick McHenry (R) as saying that Congress is really no more than a “more sophisticated” junior high school. “There are the nice guys that everybody likes,”, he said, ” the jocks, the geeks, the bullies — they’re all here. It’s a representative democracy.”

Do you agree? If so, who are the jocks? Who are the geeks? King and Queen of the prom? Vice Principal? Math Club? Consider this an open thread.
