Yesterday found the blogger-in-chief in Louisville, Kentucky speaking to an all-too alert audience of manufacturers (sales) representatives who belong to MANA, the Manufacturers’ Agents of North America. Run by all-around great guy Joe Miller, this group is a close ally of ours and does very good work in making sure manufacturers are selling their products both here and abroad. In short, a strong manufacturing sector means they’ll be stronger, too. There was almost a half hour’s worth of questions after the speech, a very informed and inquisitive group. On their minds: taxes, health care, China, pensions — no surprises.
Thanks again to Joe Miller for the invite and to the nice people at MANA for their hospitality and for staying awake through almost the entire speech.
