Back to School with America’s Manufacturers, v. 2

Back to School with America's Manufacturers As students head back to the classroom, many also head back to the varsity sports fields and one NAM member, Sidney, Ohio-based Holloway Sportswear, USA, provides many of those teams with warm up’s and jackets as well as many of the fans with outerwear. Founded in 1946 in a small converted garage in Jackson Center, Ohio, Holloway Sportswear has become a leading manufacturer and marketer of team wear, active wear and outerwear. Under the management of Bus Holloway in the 1950s, the company expanded into athletic uniforms, sweaters and jackets. Over the last fifty years, they have expanded into new markets, adding items such as team and fan wear, wool/leather award jackets and knit shirts. Today, they have a 200,000 square foot distribution center with over 100 sales representatives across the United States. They are officially licensed with over 600 Colleges and Universities and carries over 90 styles in stock, ready for same day shipment including youth, big & tall and sizes up to 6XL. (Where does a 6XL sit? Anywhere he wants to….)

Recall, too, that Holloway was one of the NAM member companies quick to donate money and supplies to the hurricane relief efforts. Just another great American manufacturer making a great product and being a great corporate citizen. All in a day’s work…
