A rare mid-day posting, but wanted to let you know that the President signed CAFTA in the Rose Garden this morning. Here’s a link to a Bloomberg story on it. NAM President John Engler was there for the ceremony, celebrating the opening of more markets to more US manufacturers. That sound you hear is the sound of trade barriers falling.
Here’s a link to a podcast of a short (1:30) interview with Engler about the political and other implications of CAFTA.
