Regular blog readers know that some Friday Follies are funny, some downright hilarious, some just dopey and some just a little whimsical. This one falls into that last category, sent to us by another one of the mullet-friendly Satrom family. It’s an artificial intelligence version of the classic game of 20 Questions. If you’ve ever tried to kill time, like taking a long car ride with kids, you’ve played the game. This is a 21st-century version and it’s really cool. We tried to stump it a few times but failed.
Somewhere, some clever software designer — a manufacturer — designed this thing. Next time you’re on a long, boring conference call, just click on this link and give it a try, see if you can beat the computer. Of course, you can pick something really obscure but what fun would that be? It’s a helpless computer after all. But for the run-of-the-mill objects, this thing is pretty good.
Doesn’t take much to amuse us, as you can guess. Have fun!
