Dobbs — Wrong on CAFTA. Again. And Again. And Again.

By July 6, 2005Dobbs Watch

Dobbs WatchWe said in our very first posting on Lou Dobbs that he has the best gig on TV, in that he gets to do the same story night after night. On his website tonight, he says he had Reps. Kevin Brady (R-TX) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH) “debate whether DR-CAFTA is really good for the United States.”
Haven’t we been over this before? In links too numerous to mention (just scroll down to all the “Dobbs Watch” pieces), we’ve talked about how CAFTA is an undeniable winner for the US. Most shows have done a story or two on it and — God forbid — moved on. But not Lou. He’s still on it. What’s he going to talk about after it passes? It’s gonna pass.

He also has his “Quickvote” question posted: “Do you think journalists should be jailed for not revealing their confidential sources?” Hmmmmm….. Let’s see…… Is the “Journalist” in question Lou Dobbs….? Can we have a few days to think this one over….?

Also for those of you who missed it over the weekend, here’s the anti-Dobbs, the schmaltzy piece by the blogger-in-chief that reminds us that we are a nation of immigrants and why immigration actually has made this country great.
