Today, the AFL-CIO Executive Committee is scheduled to meet, bringing face -to-face all the many protagonists and antagonists in this ugly fight for the first time since the line was drawn in the sand by the five (or was it ten?) amigos. We’ll put our ears to the ground and let you know what transpired, but it occurred to us that since the AFL is in such financial trouble, why didn’t they have the meeting in MCI Center in downtown DC and charge admission? Might’ve been worth the price, certainly better than the Mike Tyson fight.
